Transportation Endorsement

This course is for an OFA Level 1 or 2 attendant who may be working remotely. If you have an OFA Level 1 or 2 certificate and would like to learn how to secure a patient to a spine board for transportation to a hospital, this course is for you!

Description

This course is a basic, one-day course to learn how to safely transport injured workers to medical aid. In order to participate in this training a candidate must hold a current OFA Level 1 or Level 2 certificate. If you are certified in OFA Level 3, you have already learned the skills taught in this course. Upon successful completion of course you will receive a 3 year certification.

OFA Level One Certificate, or OFA Level Two Certificate

WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid (OFA Level 2) is an occupational first aid course. If your workplace is in the city and has more than 50 employees OR has a moderate to high risk of injury, this course is for you!

OFA Level 3 is an occupational first aid course for an advanced first aid attendant working remotely. If your workplace is more than 20 minutes from an ambulance and has a large staff OR has a moderate to high risk of injury, this course is for you!
